Responsibilities

Our Product Designers are responsible to create the best version of our product possible. They are empathetic problem solvers that help move a project from sketches to a usable product that can be tested and evaluated.

  • Solve complex design problems for industry 4.0 SaaS applications, providing detailed design specifications in line with existing patterns and styles, and ensuring the correct implementation of the design
  • Use user-centric design process from discovery of a product to implementation.
  • Participate in and facilitate high-level discussions with stakeholders, ensuring design topics remain a priority within key product decisions.
  • Serve as a mentor and coach by understanding the team’s capabilities, assisting in their development and training, and by providing constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with other product designers, researchers, product owners, engineers, and others.
  • Work with designers to ensure accurate communication and efficiency in the design phase.
  • Drive and support UX Research activities, some times being part of end user interviews
  • Understand and analyze the user, competitors, and the customer from a design perspective.
  • Define a logical structure for the product and use visual elements to enhance the experience.
  • Create usable and engaging User Interfaces.
  • Translate design concepts into functional prototypes.
  • Develop, present, and test design concepts.
  • Ensure consistency and accessibility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in design or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in software design
  • Well-rounded, user-centered design portfolio.
  • Highly self-organized with the ability to prioritize and to work well in a dynamic organization
  • Fluency in English; German and other languages are a plus.
  • Sharpeye for details.
  • A deep understanding of Figma, Webflow, Dovetail (or equivalent research tool) and the Atlassian Suite
  • Experience in working in an agile SW development environment
  • B2B/SaaS software design.
  • IoT and manufacturing industry.
  • Web and mobile application design.
