You are responsible for the onboarding and deploying of our FactoryPal software applications to new customers and new manufacturing lines. You act as the Go-To person for all questions regarding application configuration, and integration of our customers’ systems – be it in the implementation phase or during ongoing operations. You will closely interact with other teams in FactoryPal, which deliver our SaaS solution to the customer - mainly the Digital Manufacturing consulting teams, but also Application Engineering and the Data Science teams. In a nutshell:

  • You will be responsible for onboarding and deploying our software application to new customers and new manufacturing lines
  • You will integrate our customers’ systems with FactoryPals product APIs and develop the customer specific data transformation
  • You will participate in meetings with clients to understand their data needs and create blueprints for data structures
  • You will be acting as the subject matter expert in the field of automating and streamlining data extraction and transformation processes from our clients’ systems
  • You will troubleshoot existing problems and implement solutions
  • You will be assisting in the deployment of our mobile applications


  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent training or experience.
  • You have at least 2 years experience as backend or integration engineer
  • You are familiar with cloud technologies (AWS) and SaaS
  • You have experience with DevOps, especially Infrastructure as Code, is a plus
  • You know how to build, test, and document stable and scalable data integration and processing pipelines
  • APIs, SQL, Python, Java and Docker are nothing new to you.
  • You have a can-do attitude and the ability to explain complex technical structures and issues to your stakeholders.
  • You are familiar with ambiguity, uncertainty and risk in a project environment and can achieve excellent results in dynamic and multicultural settings.
  • Fluency in English, other languages (German) are a plus.
  • You easily apply Office productivity and communication tools such as Office 365, Slack and Miro. 
  • Experience in Industrial IoT and manufacturing industry is a plus.
