Responsibilities

You are responsible to drive, shape and form the for onboarding and deploying our FactoryPal software applications to new customers and new manufacturing lines. You act as the the Go-To person for all questions regarding application configuration for our customers production lines – be it in the implementation project or during standard operations. In this role you report to the Project Shared Services Manager and you closely interact with other teams in FactoryPal, which deliver our SaaS solution to the customer - mainly the Digital Manufacturing consulting teams, but also Machine Connectivity, Application Engineering and the Data Science team.

You will integrate our customers’ systems with our product APIs.

You will participate in meetings with clients to understand their data needs and create blueprints for data structures.

You will be acting as the subject matter expert in the field of automating and streamlining data extraction processes from our clients’ systems

You will troubleshoot existing problems and implement solutions

You will be assisting in the deployment of our mobile applications

Qualifications

You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent training or experience.
You have at least 2 years experience as backend or integration engineer.
You are familiar with cloud technologies (AWS) and SaaS.
You have experience with DevOps, especially Infrastructure as Code, is a plus.
You know how to build and document stable and scalable data integration and processing pipelines
APIs, SQL, Python, Java and Docker are nothing new to you.
You have a can-do attitude and the ability to explain complex technical structures and issues to your stakeholders.
You are familiar with ambiguity, uncertainty and risk in a project environment and can achieve excellent results in dynamic and multicultural settings.
You can ideally also build upon a solid foundation in mathematics and statistics and as a further plus combine this with data science and machine learning know-how.
You easily apply Office productivity and communication tools such as Office 365, Slack and Miro.
Your English is fluent and you speak at least one other European language.
